For all you Indian art lovers, the “Native Treasures Indian Arts Festival” took place at the new Santa Fe Convention Center this past May 23rd and 24th, and was a visual feast to be remembered. One could find sculpture, paintings, pottery, basketry and jewelry ranging from classic to contemporary in this extraordinary display of talent and ingenuity from more than 170 artists, representing 40 tribes.
They will likely also be among those exhibiting at the world renowned Indian Market in Santa Fe on August 22 and 23 this year. That is the “anchor event” of Santa Fe’s summer. Check out www.swaia.org
